Mad Skillz (b. Scott Caan, c.1975; the son of actor James Caan) and Mudfoot (b. Alan Maman, c.1977) are two white rappers from Beverly Hills (zip code 90210 no less) who have been endorsed by one of the hottest names in rap, B-Real (Cypress Hill). This fortunate state of affairs came about when the duo were recording with QDIII in Los Angeles in the early 90s, where B-Real heard their demo. The first results of this match were aired on their ‘Put Your Handz Up’, which featured Everlast on its b-side cut, ‘Hit The Deck’. They moved on to use the production skills of T Ray, the Baka Boys and Lethal (House Of Pain) for the follow-up album, fighting shy of too many comparisons to Cypress Hill or the Soul Assassins enclave.
